Nelson Nestling on the Shortlist
The shortlist for this year’s Crashaw prize was announced this week, and I was delighted to see that my friend Stephen Nelson is among their number. I was almost equally pleased to see that he’s the first of the shortlisted authors to be profiled on the Salt blog. All digits are disecting for him. Stephen has had a few publications, most recently Flylyght — a pamphlet of minimalist poems — from the Knives, Forks and Spoons Press, but it would be great to be able to welcome him to the Salt stable.
Stephen’s poetic is broad, but he’s particular known for his minimalist work and pwoemrds, so it’s only fitting that I celebrate his shortlisting with a pwoemrd:
Best wishes to Stephen and a hearty well done to all the shortlisted authors!
